DO you have a smartphone and if you do what are the odds that you have your emails sent to your phone.. If you are like most of us that live online and make our money here knowing what happens as it happens in a alert or email is crucial for staying up to date with you online interactions. The most annoying thing I find when I have multiple notifications going to my phone is that they are all the same Ding or alert sound. I don't check emails as much as I do text notifications. So I recently did a study and since I have changed the notification for my instant messages and email I am saving more time and being more productive. SO how does one alert sound change have allot to do with it. well I would check my phone almost every time it chimed and 7 out of 10 times it was a email notification. So now I only check every time the chime that only indicates my instant message. This eliminates me removing my phone from its case and looking at it. Imagine getting hundreds of emails a day....so now I can be more productive with other distractions :)
